Erin completed her Bachelor of Life Sciences at Queen’s University in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she thoroughly enjoyed conducting and presenting her research in a variety of fields, namely: Neonatology, Oncology and Urology. On finishing her degree, Erin conducted research with Volunteer Toronto which aimed to reduce barriers for newcomers to Canada when accessing sports organizing opportunities. As a Research Assistant at EQuIS, Erin is eagerly working on a multi-site clinical trial for Small Bowel Obstruction (SBO) in children. Passionate about the field of paediatrics Erin is motivated to become a physician-scientist who conducts clinical research aimed at improving the quality of care and reducing health disparities for marginalized populations. In addition to her work at EQuIS, Erin works part-time to support COVID-19 testing in the Calgary area. In her spare time Erin enjoys kayaking, snowboarding, hiking, and reading.
